To mark the release of “Under The Laurel Tree”, Rainbow Chan presents a special launch event at Hope St Radio, Melbourne. This intimate, one-night-only experience will draw from her forthcoming third album, The Bridal Lament. Shaped by her research into Weitou women’s ritual songs - the events weave together live performance, storytelling and traditional snacks prepared by Rainbow and her mum. Centred on cultural inheritance, memory and the exchange of knowledge across generations, Rainbow invites audiences into the emotional and sensory world behind the songs.
